Paul Juda Qualifies for Team USA at 2024 Paris Olympics

Paul Juda, a 22-year-old gymnast from Illinois, broke into tears of joy after securing his spot on Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics. At the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials, Juda clinched fourth place with 168.850 points, ensuring his participation in the prestigious event.

Following the announcement of the results, Juda expressed his emotions to reporters, visibly moved by the support from the crowd in Minneapolis. He shared his elation at achieving his goal of completing all his routines successfully and leaving the trials unharmed.

Standing alongside his future Olympic teammate Asher Hong, Juda, a University of Michigan alum and a bronze medalist at the 2023 World Championships, reflected on his journey to the Olympics. Overwhelmed by the realization of becoming an Olympian, Juda’s phone buzzed with messages of congratulations as he eagerly anticipated reuniting with his family.

Joining Juda in representing the U.S. Men’s Gymnastics Team in Paris are Frederick Richard, Brody Malone, and Stephen Nedoroscik. The team is now focused on strategizing their approach to the upcoming competition.
