WTA stars have been having some fun with the German language during their time at the German Open in Berlin. Ons Jabeur, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Naomi Osaka were caught on video attempting to pronounce German words, leading to plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
During the language challenge, Jabeur playfully poked fun at Sabalenka’s struggles with English, while also managing to beat Gauff and Osaka in the pronunciation game. The camaraderie between the players was evident as they enjoyed some off-court bonding time.
Notably, Jabeur and Paula Badosa’s friendship took center stage as they playfully vied for the title of being closer to Badosa. What started as a rivalry between Jabeur and Sabalenka over Badosa’s friendship eventually led to the trio forming a close-knit bond.
As the WTA stars continue to compete on the court, it’s heartwarming to see them forge meaningful friendships off the court, adding a layer of camaraderie to the competitive world of professional tennis.
