Whataburger is set to make its grand entrance into Atlanta with the opening of its first location inside the perimeter. The Texas-based burger chain is gearing up to mark the occasion with exciting giveaways and charitable contributions.

The much-anticipated opening of Whataburger’s 1,000th store is scheduled for Tuesday at 2955 Cobb Pkwy #910, located approximately a mile from The Battery. To add to the excitement, the first two customers in the drive-thru line will be rewarded with free Whataburger for an entire year.

The official opening time is set for 12 p.m., with the free Whataburger prizes being awarded at 11 a.m. Additionally, the event will feature special performances, other giveaways, and a generous $10,000 donation to the Atlanta Community Food Bank from Whataburger executives.

While this marks the chain’s inaugural location inside the perimeter, Whataburger already has 12 other locations in the metro Atlanta area and one in Thomasville, south Georgia.
