Billy Ray Cyrus Files for Annulment Just 7 Months After Marriage

Billy Ray Cyrus, the renowned country singer, has recently filed to annul his marriage to his wife Firerose just 7 months after their wedding. The unexpected move has raised eyebrows in the entertainment industry.

According to official documents obtained by TMZ, Billy Ray Cyrus cited irreconcilable differences and ‘inappropriate marital conduct’ as reasons for the annulment. He also alleged that the marriage was obtained through fraud, seeking a swift resolution to the union.

The couple’s date of separation was noted as May 22, 2024, with Billy Ray setting a deadline for Firerose to vacate their shared residence by May 24. Additionally, he offered to cover temporary housing expenses for a period of ten days at $500 per night.

As part of the annulment proceedings, Billy Ray has agreed to provide Firerose with $5,000 per month for housing in Tennessee for a duration of 90 days or until the divorce is finalized, whichever comes first.

This marks the end of Billy Ray Cyrus’ third marriage, following previous unions with Cindy Smith and Tish Cyrus. His marriage to Firerose, which began in October ’23, lasted only 7 months without any children between them.

The couple first met on the set of ‘Hannah Montana’ and had been romantically involved for some time before tying the knot. Despite their public displays of affection on social media, the marriage ultimately came to an abrupt end.

Billy Ray’s decision to seek an annulment has left fans and industry insiders speculating about the reasons behind the sudden dissolution of the relationship. As the details continue to unfold, the country music icon remains focused on moving forward from this chapter in his personal life.
