The 34-year-old artist took to social media to publicly come out as bisexual, coinciding with the celebration of Pride Month. This revelation comes just four months after Morris finalized her divorce from Ryan Hurd.

Following a successful performance in Phoenix, Morris shared her news on social media, expressing her happiness at being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. The Grammy winner posted a series of images from her ‘RSVP Redux’ tour, including moments where she proudly displayed a Pride flag.

The divorce from Ryan Hurd, her husband of five years, was officially completed in January after Morris filed for dissolution in October 2023, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’ The court documents revealed that a property settlement agreement and prenuptial agreement were upheld, with Hurd agreeing to pay $2,100 in monthly child support for their 4-year-old son, Hayes.

Morris and Hurd, who started dating in 2015 and got married in 2018, had announced their engagement in 2017. Their son, Hayes, was born in March 2020. However, Morris shocked fans when she declared her departure from country music, citing the toxic environment within the industry as the reason for her decision.

In an emotional statement, Morris expressed her disillusionment with the current state of country music, highlighting the toxicity that led her to step away from the genre.
