SNK made an exciting announcement at the Summer Games Fest, revealing new characters for their upcoming fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The company showcased a new trailer introducing the return of B. Jenet and the debut of Vox Reaper as playable characters in the game.

The trailer began with a live-action segment showing a person entering an arcade and playing Fatal Fury before transitioning to the modern title where Terry Bogard and Rock Howard engage in combat. The video also highlighted previously announced characters before giving a glimpse of B. Jenet’s intro.

B. Jenet, known from Mark of the Wolves, is a pirate captain who values freedom. She previously appeared in King of Fighters 11 and will now join the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Vox Reaper, a new character, was also unveiled with unique purple flame abilities, reminiscent of King of Fighters’ Iori.

While the initial trailer provided only a brief look at the new fighters, SNK released individual gameplay trailers showcasing their moves and abilities. B. Jenet displays familiar maneuvers from previous games, while Vox Reaper brings a fresh fighting style to the game.

In other news, Summer Games Fest 2024 also revealed the Street Fighter 6 Season 2 DLC lineup, including familiar faces from Fatal Fury like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to launch in early 2025 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
