Lizzo Featured in South Park Parody

Lizzo, the popular singer known for her body positivity and self-love messages, recently found herself at the center of a South Park parody. The episode, titled ‘The End Of Obesity,’ humorously introduced an Ozempic alternative named after Lizzo. The alternative drug, according to the show, is meant to be used in conjunction with listening to Lizzo’s music and watching her videos to achieve happiness with one’s appearance.

In the episode, a doctor prescribes ‘Lizzo’ to a character, instructing them to listen to Lizzo’s songs five times a day and watch her videos before bedtime, humorously suggesting a lifetime commitment to the singer’s content. Lizzo, upon seeing the parody on South Park, responded with a TikTok video expressing her amusement and pride at being featured in the long-running animated series.

She remarked in the video, ‘That’s crazy. I just feel like, damn, I’m really that bitch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a fuck to the point where these men in Colorado know who the fuck I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.’

The playful exchange between Lizzo and South Park has garnered attention on social media, with fans sharing the clip and expressing their enjoyment of the light-hearted jab at the singer’s influence. The episode, ‘The End Of Obesity,’ is currently available for streaming on Paramount+, allowing viewers to catch the humorous reference to Lizzo’s empowering persona.
