Acer has unveiled its latest additions to the Vero HL68 Series with the announcement of the Acer Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV smart laser projectors. These projectors are specifically designed for home theater enthusiasts, offering a combination of cutting-edge technology and innovative features.
One of the standout features of the new HL68 projectors is their hybrid laser and LED light source, providing a stunning 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness. With a projected lifetime of up to 30,000 hours, users can enjoy long-lasting, high-quality viewing experiences.
Both the Acer Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV boast a 4K Ultra HD resolution, supporting HDR10 and HLG for exceptional picture quality. The projectors feature a throw ratio that allows for a 100-inch image to be cast from just 2.5 meters away, offering flexibility in setup and positioning.
Additionally, these projectors offer a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and cover 105% of the Rec.709 color gamut, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors. The Football mode enhances the viewing experience by optimizing the image for larger projections, creating a more realistic and vivid picture.
Other notable features of the HL68 projectors include a built-in 10W speaker for immersive audio, BlueLight Shield technology for reduced eye strain, 1.3x zoom capability, horizontal and vertical keystone adjustments, and four-corner correction tools for precise image alignment.
For added convenience and entertainment options, the HL6810ATV model comes with an Android TV dongle, allowing users to stream content from popular platforms such as Disney+, YouTube, and Netflix. Connectivity options on both projectors include HDMI 2.0b, USB-A 2.0, audio out, and RS232, with various control methods available including built-in buttons, a remote control, smartphone integration, and voice commands.
The Acer Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV projectors are set to launch in EMEA markets with price tags of €1,599 and €1,699, respectively. The HL6810ATV is expected to debut in June, followed by the HL6810 model in August. While the release dates for other regions like North America are yet to be confirmed, these smart laser projectors are sure to make a splash in the home entertainment market.
