The Model Spec document, a comprehensive guide to OpenAI’s AI technology, reveals that the organization is considering the responsible creation of not safe for work (NSFW) content within appropriate contexts through its API and ChatGPT platforms. While OpenAI’s current usage policies prohibit sexually explicit or suggestive content, the company is contemplating potential adjustments to accommodate such materials.
The document specifies that NSFW content may encompass erotica, extreme gore, slurs, and unsolicited profanity. However, the extent to which OpenAI intends to relax its usage policy remains uncertain.
