Jeremy Strong, known for his role in ‘Succession,’ is in talks to play Bruce Springsteen’s manager, Jon Landau, in the upcoming movie ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere.’ The film, directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zane’s book, will delve into the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album, ‘Nebraska.’
‘Nebraska,’ following Springsteen’s successful ‘The River’ album, took a different turn as a stripped-down solo project. The movie will explore Springsteen’s creative journey during the album’s creation.
Both Springsteen and Landau are actively involved in the film’s production, set to begin shooting in the fall. The project has garnered excitement, with Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios president David Greenbaum expressing enthusiasm for collaborating with the iconic artist.
Jeremy Strong, a recent Tony nominee and Emmy winner for ‘Succession,’ is set to take on the role of Jon Landau. He will also appear in ‘The Apprentice’ alongside Sebastian Stan.
