Automobili Pininfarina, the electric hypercar builder, has introduced a new line of bespoke EVs inspired by the iconic billionaire Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman. Teaming up with Wayne Enterprises, a luxury brand associated with the Batman franchise, Automobili Pininfarina is set to produce limited quantities of four different models that cater to affluent consumers.
Founded in Italy in 1930, Automobili Pininfarina is the electric reincarnation of the original Pininfarina S.p.A. brand. Since its revival in 2018, the company, now based in Germany, has been delivering exceptional electric hypercars that stand out in the market.
One of their flagship models is the Battista hyper GT, boasting an impressive 1,877 horsepower. This model has seen various limited edition releases, such as the $2.9 million Battista Anniversario and the Edizione dedicated to the legendary Formula 1 champion Nino Farina.
Recently, Automobili Pininfarina unveiled the Battista Reversario, a high-performance variant capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.79 seconds. The design language of Pininfarina’s electric vehicles resonates with the style that one would associate with Batman or his alter ego, Bruce Wayne.
Adding to their lineup, Automobili Pininfarina has introduced the B95 Barchetta, a convertible hypercar that currently holds the title of the most expensive BEV globally. This model exudes luxury and sophistication, fitting perfectly into Bruce Wayne’s persona.
In collaboration with DC Comics and Warner Brothers, the creators of the Batman franchise, Automobili Pininfarina has developed four bespoke EVs inspired by the iconic superhero. The collection includes two Battista hyper GT variants and two versions of the B95 Barchetta, named ‘Dark Knight’ and ‘Gotham’ respectively.
These Batman-themed EVs were created in partnership with Wayne Enterprises, a luxury brand associated with the Batman universe, offering products influenced by Bruce Wayne’s character to the public. The new lineup combines cutting-edge technology with the timeless allure of the Batman franchise, appealing to fans of both electric vehicles and the iconic superhero.
