During the Milan Design Week, Audi showcased its latest innovation, the Audi SQ6 e-tron, at the Fuorisalone event. The SUV, known for redefining premium electric mobility standards, made its world premiere at the event. The setting for this year’s exhibition was the elegant Piazza del Quadrilatero of Portrait Milano, a hotel under the Lungarno Collection brand.
The installation, part of the INTERNI Cross Vision exhibition-event, was designed by the renowned Bjarke Ingels Group. Titled ‘Reflaction,’ the exhibition symbolizes the connection between ‘reflection’ and ‘action,’ emphasizing how our actions define our existence. The exhibition space was laid out in a ‘plus’ symbol shape, representing four key themes: Community, Knowledge, Performance, and Digital Light, mirroring the rings of the Audi logo.
The structure of the installation, featuring mirror cladding, created an illusion of expanded space and complemented the surrounding architecture. The installation included an amphitheater in the Knowledge area for discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with Audi AG experts. The Digital Light section showcased the latest in technology with a display of digital and segmented OLED lights. Additionally, the Community area provided a serene setting with a tree-lined courtyard for relaxation.
The highlight of the exhibition was the Performance area, featuring two Audi SQ6 e-trons. Visitors were treated to a unique experience with a ring of mirrored cars, offering eight different perspectives of the vehicles through reflections. Stay tuned for more coverage of this event in the upcoming magazine issue, including an interview with interior designer Mattijs Van Tuijl.
