NCIS: Origins Casts Daniel Bellomy, Caleb Martin Foote, and Robert Taylor in Recurring Roles

NCIS: Origins, the highly anticipated prequel to the beloved NCIS series, has recently announced the addition of talented actors Daniel Bellomy, Caleb Martin Foote, and Robert Taylor to its cast in recurring roles. The CBS production, set to premiere during the 2024-2025 broadcast season, is already generating excitement among fans.

Executive produced and narrated by Mark Harmon, NCIS: Origins delves into the early years of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Austin Stowell. The storyline kicks off in 1991, preceding the events of the original NCIS series, and follows Gibbs as he embarks on his journey as a special agent at the NIS Camp Pendleton office.

In this prequel, viewers will witness Gibbs navigating the challenges of his new role within a team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks, played by Kyle Schmid. The cast additions include Mariel Molina as Special Agent Lala Dominguez, Tyla Abercrumbie as Field Operation Support Officer Mary Jo Sullivan, and Diany Rodriguez as Special Agent Vera Strickland.

Daniel Bellomy takes on the role of Special Agent Granville “Granny” Dawson, a young agent eager to prove himself in the field. Caleb Martin Foote portrays Special Agent Benjamin “Randy” Randolf, tasked with guiding the inexperienced Agent Gibbs. Robert Taylor steps into the role of Jackson Gibbs, the stern father of Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

NCIS: Origins is part of the expanding NCIS franchise, which includes the long-running flagship series, NCIS: Hawai’i, and the upcoming Tony & Ziva spinoff set in Europe. The franchise’s first international installment, NCIS: Sydney, is also in the works.
