Panasonic Connect to Provide AV Solutions for 2024 Olympic Games in France and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Panasonic Connect has announced its plans to provide AV solutions for the 2024 Olympic Games in France and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. As a Worldwide Olympic Partner and Worldwide Paralympic Partner, Panasonic will collaborate closely with the International Olympic Committee, the Paris Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, and the Olympic Broadcasting Services to support event operations.

In an effort to make Paris 2024 a sustainable event, Panasonic will propose solutions to address the industry’s ongoing labor shortage and challenges of visual expression. The company’s IT/IP platform, KAIROS, will deliver video content to large LED screens at almost all competition venues, simplifying workflows and streamlining operations. Additionally, remote cameras will be installed in all 29 press rooms to enhance operational efficiency.

Panasonic plans to deploy 130 laser projectors, including the world’s smallest and lightest projector, which is 40% smaller than previous models. The company’s labor-saving projection technology aims to reduce resource allocation for transport, storage, and installation, thereby reducing the event’s carbon footprint. Furthermore, Panasonic’s Remotely Managed Service will allow operators to manage and monitor large-scale multi-projection systems via the cloud, addressing potential image misalignment without being present on-site.
