Sunsoft, a Japanese game company, has officially announced the upcoming release of Sunsoft is Back! Retro Game Selection for the Nintendo Switch. The collection, set to debut in Japan on April 18th, will also have an English version available.
The compilation will feature three Famicom titles – Wings of Madura (1986), 53 Stations of the Tokaido (1986), and Ripple Island (1988). The games will come with ‘save and rewind functions’ to enhance the gaming experience, along with a Gallery Mode. Additionally, the package will include original illustrations, proposals, unpublished illustrations, and more.
Wings of Madura is a side-scrolling action game where players control Lucia, aiming to defeat bosses and progress through various stages. 53 Stations of the Tokaido is described as an exhilarating side-scrolling action game with addictive actions, while Ripple Island is an adventure game where players navigate obstacles and defeat Gerogale using nine different commands.
