Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Team Watch Party Draws Fervent Support from Fans

Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes gathered at the Newbo City Market on Saturday afternoon for a Watch Party event, as the women’s team continued to lead Iowa to the finals. The team has scored over 3,000 points this season, averaging about 92 points per game, sparking hope among supporters for a victorious end to the season.

One Cedar Rapids resident, Matt Grimm, expressed his excitement, especially for Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking performance, stating, ‘Congratulations to Caitlin, I mean, breaking all those records I can’t even imagine how awesome that must feel. So much fun to watch them. Not just her but the whole team jelling together.’

Another fan, Troy Lloid, also from Cedar Rapids, voiced his support for the team, particularly praising Caitlin Clark, ‘I believe the girls are gunna make it all the way, Caitlin Clark is awesome. She’s doing a great job, I totally support everything she’s doing and everything she’s about.’
