Expert Advises Tourists to Book Seat at Rear of Plane for ‘Most Comfortable Flight’

Expert Urges Tourists to Book Seat at the Rear of the Plane for ‘Most Comfortable Flight’

Tourists have been advised to choose sensible clothing and consider the best seats on board to stay comfortable during long-haul flights.

The online flight tracking service Skyscanner has offered tourists a range of tips that could help them stay comfortable and entertained when on a long-haul flight.

While flying is undoubtedly the quickest way to reach distant holiday destinations, it can still take hours on end before tourists arrive at popular cities around the world.

To help avoid discomfort, Catherine McGloin, a travel expert at Skyscanner, suggested that all tourists should remember to wear suitable clothing.

She advised: “Remember, sitting still and being blasted by a powerful aircon system can get chilly, so wearing several loose layers are ideal to adjust your temperature as you fly.”

“Save your jewellery for the holiday and pack it in the hold – it’ll only set the alarms off at airport security anyway. In case of emergencies, closed toe shoes are better than flip flops, and make sure you don’t wear any footwear that’s too snug as your feet swell at high altitudes.”

These simple yet effective tips can help to make tourists feel more refreshed and ready for their holiday.
