Google Photos Introduces New Update for Easier Sharing

Google Photos has rolled out a new update aimed at making it easier for users to share their favorite moments with their loved ones. The latest feature, spotted by 9to5Google, allows users to add a favorite person shortcut, streamlining the process of sharing and strengthening the pursuit of sharing special moments with loved ones.

The new feature enables users to share instantly and in full quality with their favorite person, who will always be in the first position on the share carousel with a heart beneath their name. This update is available via ‘Library > Utilities > Add favorite shortcut’ within the latest version of the Google Photos app on Android, although it is not yet present on iPhone.

Users can easily set up the favorite person shortcut and change the designated person by accessing ‘Settings > Sharing Favorite shortcut,’ as reported by 9to5Google. The update aims to enhance the user experience and make sharing moments with loved ones more convenient and enjoyable.
