Blizzard Entertainment has announced the launch of Season of Discovery Phase 3, set to go live on April 4 at 1:00 pm PDT worldwide. This new phase brings exciting updates and expansions to the World of Warcraft, offering adventurers the opportunity to level from 41 to 50, earn additional talent points, explore new encounters in the Sunken Temple, discover new runes and abilities, and much more.
New Rune Discoveries
Players can engage in fun new puzzles, quests, and secrets to discover at least 6 new runes for each class. Additionally, two new gear slots available in helms and bracers can be utilized to apply the new runes.
Nightmare Incursions
An all-new outdoor PvE event, Nightmare Incursions, allows players to delve deeper into the story tie between mysterious dream portals and the new Sunken Temple raid dungeon. Participants can earn new items and gain reputation with the Emerald Wardens as they progress.
Players will encounter mysterious portals in four locations around the world: Ashenvale, Duskwood, Hinterlands, and Feralas, providing content for both leveling up and maximum level characters.
Earn New PvP Rewards and More
PvP ranks will increase from 5 to 7, offering new rewards including PvP class sets with 54 items and 18 accessories. Additionally, new Blood Moon rewards are available up to level 50, with three new currencies to collect and spend.
Sunken Temple Raid and New Dungeons
The Season of Discovery introduces the first 20-player raid dungeon in the form of the Temple of Atal’Hakkar (Sunken Temple), featuring 8 deadly bosses, new rewards, and exciting discoveries. The redesigned experience brings to life the story of the escalating tension between trolls and dragons. Players will also have the opportunity to explore Blackrock Depths, Maraudon, and Zul’Farrak dungeons with all-new loot at maximum level.
Discoverer’s Delight Experience Buff
Players will benefit from the Discoverer’s Delight experience buff, which increases experience gains by 100% for all players through level 39. With the release of Season of Discovery Phase 3, players will also gain an additional 50% experience buff from level 40-49. This presents an excellent opportunity for both new and seasoned players to join in the fun and prepare for the new phase.
Players can conveniently toggle the experience buff on or off by visiting any innkeeper in the capital cities.
