2024 NASCAR Chicago Street Race Promises High-Speed Action in the Heart of the City

The anticipation is building as the 2024 NASCAR Chicago Street Race is just around the corner, promising an exciting weekend of high-speed action in the heart of the city. Following last year’s challenges due to inclement weather, this year’s event is set to showcase a different experience with a more favorable forecast on the horizon.

Drivers are gearing up to tackle the 2.2-mile course, with both the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series races scheduled to take place over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The Xfinity Series kicks off the festivities on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT with The Loop 110, while the main event, the Grant Park 165 Cup Series race, is set for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. CT.

The racecourse winds through the bustling downtown streets, featuring 12 turns that will challenge drivers as they navigate speeds exceeding 100 mph.
