2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival: New Topiaries and Enhancements

As the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival approaches its opening day on February 28, the park has been bustling with activity, with several new topiaries and other enhancements being installed.

One of the newly added topiaries is Buzz Lightyear, located in World Discovery near Mission: SPACE. The popular character is depicted waving to visitors from a flowerbed, complete with intricate details that capture his toy-like appearance.

In World Nature, near Imagination! and The Land Pavilion, the returning favorites Woody, Bo Peep, and her sheep have made a comeback. Woody, with his signature cowboy hat, is accompanied by three alphabet block planters, while Bo Peep is portrayed in her classic dress, holding onto her staff, with her three sheep standing nearby.

Additionally, Flower, Thumper, and Bambi have been added to World Discovery, near the Imagination! Pavilion and Refreshment Port. These vibrant topiaries showcase the beloved characters in vivid colors, adding a delightful touch to the surroundings.

The rose walk near the Imagination! Pavilion has also received a colorful makeover, with the installation of florals featuring intricate designs of butterflies and flowers in an array of vibrant hues, including red, yellow, and green.

Preparations are underway for the installation of more topiaries inspired by popular franchises such as “Coco,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and “Wish.” Temporary rolling planters and hay can be seen in World Celebration, indicating the forthcoming additions to the festival.

Notably, the Prehistoric Garden section has seen the removal of small dinosaur figures, making way for the new installations and further enhancing the enchanting ambiance of the festival.
