The 2024 British Open Championship is set to kick off this week at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland, with top golfers like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau, and Collin Morikawa vying for victory. The American dominance in major golf championships has been on a remarkable streak, with DeChambeau being the sixth consecutive American to clinch a major title at the recent U.S. Open.

Americans have been on a winning spree in major golf tournaments, with the last time this level of consecutive victories occurred back in 1982. This year, the Open Championship is scheduled for July 18-21 and will be broadcasted through a combination of free television and paid streaming services. NBC Sports will provide extensive coverage, totaling nearly 50 hours of live action.

Viewers can catch all the action on TV via NBC and the USA Network, while streaming options include Peacock, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports App. Additionally, NBC Sports will feature live groups on Peacock throughout the Championship, showcasing two morning and two afternoon groups daily. A special streaming feed highlighting the ‘Postage Stamp’ 8th hole will also be available on Peacock.

Notable groups to watch out for during the tournament include John Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood, and Robert MacIntyre, along with DeChambeau, Ludvig Aberg, and Tom Kim. Other exciting groups include Harman, Viktor Hovland, and Sahith Theegala, as well as McIlroy, Max Homa, and Tyrell Hatton.
