2024 ‘Billboard’ Women in Music Awards Honorees Announced

The 2024 ‘Billboard’ Women in Music Awards will be a star-studded event, honoring some of the most influential female artists in the music industry. Hosted by actress Tracee Ellis Ross, the ceremony will take place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on March 6.

Billboard recently unveiled the lineup of honorees for this year’s Women in Music event, celebrating the diverse talents shaping the music landscape. The list of esteemed artists includes Kylie Minogue, Maren Morris, Ice Spice, Charli XCX, Young Miko, Victoria Monét, NewJeans, TEMS, and Luísa Sonza.

Kylie Minogue, at 55, will receive the coveted icon award in recognition of her remarkable career. The Australian superstar garnered global acclaim with her 16th studio album, ‘Tension,’ and the hit single “Padam Padam.”

Maren Morris, 33, will be honored with the visionary award for her unwavering commitment to addressing injustices. Last year, she made a bold move by releasing her EP ‘The Bridge’ on Columbia Records, diverging from the country music scene.

Ice Spice, 24, will be recognized with the hitmaker award for her breakout success in 2023. The rapper achieved five songs within the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100, including collaborations with Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.

Charli XCX, 31, will receive the powerhouse award for her groundbreaking contributions to the pop genre and her work on the Barbie soundtrack. Her song “Speed Drive” marked her return to the Hot 100 after nearly a decade.

In addition to these established artists, rising stars like Young Miko, Victoria Monét, TEMS, and Luísa Sonza will also be honored for their burgeoning careers.

The 2024 ‘Billboard’ Women in Music Awards promises to be a night of celebration and recognition for the incredible achievements of these talented women in the music industry.
