18th Annual Dance Parade Set to Showcase Over 100 Styles of Dance in NYC

The 18th Annual DANCE PARADE, a vibrant celebration of dance in New York City, is set to take place on Saturday, May 18th. The event will feature over 150 organizations showcasing more than 100 styles of dance, ranging from ballet to breakdance. With thousands of participants, 23 colorful floats, live bands, and a variety of performances, the Dance Parade promises to be a spectacular display of talent and creativity.

The festivities will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 AM at 6th Ave. & 17th St., with the Parade officially commencing at 12 noon. The route will take participants down 6th Ave. and across 8th St., culminating at Tompkins Square Park. At the park, attendees can enjoy performances on five different stages, participate in free dance lessons, and immerse themselves in a day of music, dance, and community spirit.
